Project Uplift is committed to handling the information entrusted to us with care, transparency, and respect.
Information we may collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide when you subscribe for updates, register interest in a program, volunteer, contact us, participate in a campaign, or make a donation. Depending on the activity, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, program interests, volunteer interests, affiliation, and information you include in a message or form.
How we use information
Project Uplift may use information to respond to inquiries, administer programs, review prospective mentors and volunteers, communicate organizational and campaign updates, coordinate events, maintain donor and supporter records, and improve how we serve students and our community.
Email and text communications
If you opt in to email or SMS communications, we may send program updates, organizational news, fundraising messages, and service-related information. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Message frequency varies. You may unsubscribe from email using the link in any message or reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
Third-party services
We use trusted service providers to support specific activities. These providers process information under their own privacy practices:
- Google Analytics helps us understand website traffic and interactions, including pages viewed, approximate geography, device information, referral sources, and selected actions such as registration, donation, subscription, and download clicks. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or form responses to Google Analytics.
- Mailchimp supports email and SMS subscriptions.
- Donorbox processes donations and event registrations. Project Uplift does not store payment-card information on this website.
- Google Forms supports program-interest and volunteer forms.
- Base44 hosts the Chapter Games portal and related competition information.
Following a link to another service or website means that service’s terms and privacy practices will apply.
Sharing and sale of information
Project Uplift does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers working on our behalf, with authorized organizational leaders or volunteers who need it to perform their responsibilities, or when required by law or necessary to protect the rights and safety of Project Uplift and others.
Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal and reporting obligations, and to maintain appropriate organizational records. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you previously provided, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also change your communications preferences at any time.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and Project Uplift does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

We may update this policy as our programs, services, and legal obligations evolve. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision.
