Help the Chapter Games community raise $15,000 for scholarships, mentorship, and career readiness. Homecoming runs Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, and registration is open.
Our mission & story

Project Uplift is a Memphis-based nonprofit helping students persist and thrive through trusted relationships, practical support, and opportunity-building. Our work currently supports students at an HBCU in West Tennessee, where alumni first came together to help students persist and succeed.
Founded in 2022 by a multigenerational group of Omega Psi Phi fraternity brothers, educators, and professionals committed to service, Project Uplift began with scholarships and evolved into a 501(c)(3) public charity focused on student success.
Financial stress, limited social capital, unclear pathways, competing life demands, and a lack of trusted guidance can interrupt a student’s progress. Students thrive when practical support, mentorship, exposure, and opportunity surround them.

Project Uplift is an independent, board-governed nonprofit powered by volunteer leaders, mentors, members, donors, and community supporters committed to helping college students persist and prepare for what comes next. We are committed to responsible stewardship, transparency, and sustaining that support for future students.
What we do
Financial relief, relationship-driven mentoring, and career pathways work together at every stage.
Financial support designed to reduce educational pressure and help students continue toward degree completion.
Relationships with experienced professionals who offer guidance, perspective, encouragement, and access to social capital.
Workshops and professional-development experiences that build practical skills and confidence for life after college.
2026 scholarship impact
Project Uplift has disbursed eight scholarship awards to college students during 2026: two during the spring semester and six for the fall academic term.
These scholarships help reduce financial pressure, support student persistence, and provide recipients with additional breathing room as they continue their education and prepare for their careers.

CareerSpring is a national nonprofit that supports first-generation and low-income students and graduates with career information, skill-building, professional networks, and employment opportunities through a free platform.
